Northland      10   9  12 14 9 — 54

Weird title, huh? But tonight, Northland (25-1) is reaching their first state appearance ever, by beating Dublin Scioto (24-2) in overtime, 54-53. The win ended the ugly streak of… being ranked #1 in the state polls at least one time every year for the last three years, and not making the state tournament. The Vikings were led by Ohio State-bound Jared Sullinger, scoring 17 points. Now the Vikings advance to play Warren Harding (23-2) on Friday night at 5:30 pm. Harding defeated North Ridgeville 53-38 tonight also.
