Wow, I can’t believe what just happened on ESPN. A somewhat home town team, the Miami-Ohio Redhawks, just lost a total heartbreaker to Boston University, 4-3 in overtime. We got off our plane, and the Redhawks had a 3-1 lead in the third period. Sounds like they had it won, but they gave up 2 goals in the last minute. TWO in the last minute. This is a tough one, they were real underdogs going into this game, Boston Univ. is a real powerhouse in hockey, they have won 5 national titles, last one in 1995. I flipped on the TV to see the Terriers celebrating and what not, my heart sank a little. It’s just like an Ohio team to finish second. Sorry, but it’s tough and true. I know how a lot of those losses felt.
