Having A Lot Of Aden"hart"
I didn’t get a chance to watch the tribute to Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart live, but I did see it on ESPN this morning. This reminds me of another situation of a player dying in the middle of a season, Darryl Kile. In this situation, they had the dirt behind the mound in the number “34″, and had the patches in the jersey. Torii Hunter went out to touch the poster on the outfield wall that had his picture. It’s amazing that this all happened so quick, I mean the guy was cut down shortly after achieving his goal to make it in the big leagues. In a situation like this, his baseball career has to be the last thing people should worry about. He was a young man first, not a baseball player.
I hope that his family can survive something like this. At least there will be justice served to the man that killed them, and attempted to flee the scene. Although, he can only get 55 years maximum in jail. Personally, I think he should get life in jail for what he did. Let’s all hope the families of the people killed can survive something like this.
