Directly from ESPN, while watching the Scott Van Pelt Show, here are the new playoff overtime rules passed just a few minutes ago by a tally of 28-4.

1. If the first team with the ball scores a touchdown, the game is over.
2. If the first team with the ball makes a field goal, the other team now gets an oppurtunity to tie or win the game on their possession.
3. If both teams make a field goal, the next team to scores wins the game.
4. Any score by opposing defense or special teams ends the game.
